Jaipur: Six people, including a 14-year-boy, died and eight others were injured in two separate accidents in Rajasthan's Alwar district on Tuesday, police said.

In Thanagazi police station area, four teenagers were killed when a motorcycle on which they were riding collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction, an officer said.

The deceased have been identified as Hem Singh (17), Kailash (18), Manish (19) and Hem Raj (19), Head Constable Ishwar Singh said, adding that the driver had fled the spot.

In another accident, a teenager and a youth died after a pickup van carrying 'kanwariyas' overturned near Chidwai village under Ramgarh police station area.

Eight others were injured and rushed to a hospital, where the condition of three persons is critical. The deceased have been identified as Ravi Khatik, 20, and Aman Prajapat, 14, an officer said.

Cases have been registered against the truck drivers. The bodies were handed over to their families after post-mortem, the police said.
