United Premier Soccer League Announces Las Vegas Division Expansion with North Vegas Soccer Demilio
North Las Vegas (Va.)-Based Pro Development Club Joins UPSL for Fall Season
LOS ANGELES: The United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) is excited to announce North Vegas Soccer Demilio as a new league member kicking off with the 2019 Fall Season.
Based in the City of Lights, North Vegas Soccer Demilio will play in the UPSL Pro Premier Las Vegas Division, and host its UPSL home games at Cheyenne High School (3200 W. Alexander Rd., North Las Vegas, NV 89032) in compliance with UPSL Minimum Standards.
United Premier Soccer League Commissioner Yan Skwara said, "We are pleased to welcome North Vegas Soccer Demilio to the UPSL. Demilio is a well-known name in soccer and in the UPSL, and the re-emergence of UPSL soccer in Southern Nevada is a positive step forward for the league. Everyone knows North Vegas Soccer Demilio is going to feature to skilled players, and the club will put a talented product on the field. It's good to see 'Demilio' back with the UPSL, and wish the club the best as it prepares to return."
Carlos Demilio is Owner of North Vegas Soccer Demilio. A native of Argentina, Demilio's club returns to the UPSL after a year-long hiatus as he re-organized his many worldwide academies.
Demilio's academies are famous for their connections to Bolton Wanderers (England), Accrington Stanley (England), Burnley FC (England), and a host of other clubs in Europe and South and Central America.
North Vegas Soccer Demilio Owner Carlos Demilio said, "Our work is taking players to different countries, and we need to play in the league like the UPSL. It's the best way for players to get the background and reference against good competition, and we really believe in the talent of the players living here in Las Vegas. We want create new opportunities for the type of players who have a chance to play in college and want to play at a high level."
Demilio also is a representative for Las Vegas Mayor's Cup, one of the city's largest annual soccer tournaments.
North Vegas Soccer Demilio will host open tryouts during first team practices starting next week, and will announce its upcoming game schedule.

North Vegas Soccer Demilio is an American Soccer club currently based in North Las Vegas, Nev., and a new member of the United Premier Soccer League. North Vegas Soccer Demilio will play in the UPSL Western Conference Las Vegas Division.
Founded in 2019, North Vegas Soccer Demilio can participate in the qualifying rounds for the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup through their affiliation and membership with the UPSL, the U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) and the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA).

The UPSL was formed in 2011 and currently includes more than 300 teams in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia and Wisconsin. UPSL is the fastest growing Pro Development League in the USA, with 400-plus teams targeted for 2019 Fall Season. Each UPSL team is individually owned and operated, and is responsible for maintaining either UPSL Pro Premier Division or Championship Division minimum standards.
UPSL teams are all eligible to participate in the U.S. Open Cup Qualifying Rounds through the leagues affiliation with the U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) and the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA).
