Mayuri Kangoo now joins Google India
Mayuri Kangoo became a famous name in the 90s after the release of Mahesh Bhatt film ‘Papa Kehte Hain’, which also featured Jugal Hansraj and Anupam Kher. The film even had the timeless song ‘Ghar Se Nikalte Hi’, which had recently been rehashed and remixed by newer artists. Mayoori has now joined Google India as its industry head – agency business.
The actress had already left the world of glamour long back after she got married NRI businessman Aditya Dhillon in 2003.
After her marriage, she moved to New York with her husband and got an MBA in marketing and finance from City University of New York-Baruch College - Zicklin School of Business. She began the second innings of her career with a New York City-based digital agency called 360i as an associate media manager. She worked in the US from 2004 till 2012. But, after the birth of her son, she returned to India, and settled down in Gurgaon, where she worked as the Managing Director for Performics a leading digital media agency a part of the French group Publicis, Gurgaon, Haryana, India and living in Sector-56 Gurgaon.
She has also worked with Digitas as associate director, media and Zenith as Chief Digital Officer.
In her filmy career, she has worked with actors like Ajay Devgn, Anupam Kher, Arshad Warsi, Shakti Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rani Mukerji, Chandrachur Singh and Jugal Hansraj.
Her acting on the small screen included shows like Kaahin Kissii Roz, Kittie Party, Kkusum and Kya Hadsaa Kya Haqeeqat.
