Margika & NIEPID organize weekly Talk Series on Alternative Therapy for Children
Hyderabad: Margika, an organization established to build awareness, fight the stigma and provide knowledge & access for treatment of differently-abled children in collaboration with National Institute of Mentally Handicapped (NIEPID), Govt of India have organized weekly Talk Series on Alternative Therapies.
Margika & NIEPID collaborated to conduct 12 one-hour sessions to be held every Wednesday from July 28th to October 13th 2021 at 7–8 pm IST (9.30-10.30 am EST); streamed live on Zoom platform. This initiative aims at creating awareness of Alternative Therapies in the care of differently-abled individuals & have often proved to help pushing them beyond their boundaries.
The talk series is FREE and specially intended for individuals with special needs, their family members and care givers, social workers, anyone with a keen interest in the field, Psychology Students, Mental Health Professionals.
