Delegates of St. George’s University to address students at Pathways World School

September 26th: Delhi: St. George’s University School of Medicine, Grenada, West Indies will be addressing the students of Pathways World School, Gurugram, to help students understand and gather information about a career in medicine in the Caribbean. The forum is designed to provide a unique perspective into the life of a medical student. The idea is to prepare students from an early age about the options available with respect to a career in Medicine.

Interestingly the number of NEET applicants are increasing approximately by 2 lacs every year, leading to an increase in the cut-off score. As a result, students are exploring opportunities overseas to make it as a qualified medical professional.

This session aims at addressing every minor and major query from the students as well as parents about medical education overseas. They will also have an opportunity to speak directly with the delegates of SGU to discuss the curriculum of Caribbean Medical Schools.

Salil Gupta, South Asia Regional Manager says, “SGU is now the second-largest source of doctors for the entire US workforce. Last year 10,791 doctors had graduated from St. George’s University, the most among international medical schools, including those in the Caribbean. With this extensive network of graduates, a strong and expanding clinical program, excellent student support services, and a consistent record of residency placement over the last four years, our current and future students are in a great position for success.”

“Through this program, we aim to expose students to a range of topics in medicine in a practical and student-friendly format so that it ignites a desire to learn more about a rewarding and prestigious career path in the Caribbean,” adds Salil Gupta, South Asia Regional Manager.
