Well, this was long due! Finally, Disney has taken it in its own hands to assemble the Avengers and their fans at one magical place—Marvel Land, California! It’s not a drill! The exclusive theme park will have several themed rides and attractions such as meeting your favorite Avengers, villains and other MCU characters. It will also include merchandise outlets but the highlight of the ‘Marvel Land’ will definitely be its microbrewery.

Disney opened the extremely popular 'Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge' last month. Without losing time, the giant company is set to work on its ‘super project’ which will be a part of the California Adventure Park.

The park is currently in construction with a wall that surrounds it from everywhere. No prizes for guessing that it has Stark Industries written all over it! For now, they have chosen to call it the Marvel Land, and it is expected to be opened around the year 2020.

Disney is said to have invested $14 million for the project and are also expected similar theme parks in Paris and Hong Kong in later years. Disney didn’t disclose a lot about the project but they did drop a hint about this special ride for the fans where they will get an opportunity to help our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man fight the enemies. Start the ride already! Also, rumor has it that the theme park will replace A Bug’s Land.

Additionally, Disney CEO, Bob Ige reckons that the park will be infused with not-ever-seen before technology and extraordinarily spectacular special effects! That said we cannot wait to move to California to witness the Marvel magic every day!

Though the official title of the park has not been decided yet, for now, the makers have chosen to call it Marvel Land. However, the word Marvel will definitely not show up in the title. The reason for this goes back to 2009 when Marvel Entertainment restricted the use of ‘Marvel’ on any theme park. Let’s just see what name Disney comes up with. Yes, we can’t wait either!

One thing is sure—this new addition to Disney’s theme parks is going to be a massive success! With Avengers: End Game making history as one of the biggest hits of all time and other MCU movies creating history as well, there will be no dearth of fans visiting this park from all corners of the world.

More information about the much-awaited superhero park is expected to be disclosed at the Disney celebration known as D23, which is scheduled to take place from August 23 to 25.
