Bollywood drugs nexus case: NCB sends notice to Karan Johar
Mumbai: In the Bollywood drugs nexus case the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Thursday issued summons to director-producer Karan Johar.
The NCB seeks important information about drug spread in the Hindi film industry and details of the party that the director hosted in July 2019. The notice has been sent to Karan with respect to the 2019 video which was under circulation on social media.
The central agency had received a complaint from Congress's Manjinder Sirsa in this regard in September and it was marked to MZU.
The latest action is part of the ongoing investigations into the Bollywood-drugs mafia nexus which the NCB is trying to unravel for the past few months, particularly after actor Sushant Singh Rajput's tragic death in June earlier this year.
