Have a Morning Routine that will transform your life!
Do you feel happy and energetic in the morning, or is it filled with stress and hurry?
What is the first thing that you do in the morning? Do you hit the snooze button on your phone, or you check the messages you got?
Do you do all that? If yes, then you need to make some changes in your routine. Nothing can be better other than starting your morning right.
The morning is that time of day in which your brain is the sharpest. For this reason, morning should be committed to the most important work i.e. bettering yourself and quality of your life.
So, choose to make plenty of time for yourself because you are your life’s most important project. If you want things to change for you, then you must change how you live your mornings. You either choose to wake up feeling upbeat, positive and ready to own your day, or you can fright your day, fill them with negativity, and let the day go past you. One way or another, we all strive for the former, so make it a habit to feel good and positive.
Even though we don’t always realize it, as the day goes by, we face difficulty in focusing on our work. We feel tired, find tasks to be more difficult and our mood sours. This exhaustion kills our productivity.
Below are the three easiest, yet life-changing morning rituals you can do every day. Of course, you can have your own afternoon or bed-time rituals, but morning rituals are extremely effective in empowering your day, since they help you charge yourself and fill you with energy before it all starts.
- Meditate for at least 2 minutes:
Mornings are the most crucial time of the day. So, don’t just jump off your bed in a panic state. Give your mind and body sometime to settle and relax. It charges your body for whole day.
You can meditate at any time of day or night, but the ideal time to meditate is the first thing in the morning. The benefits of meditation are maximum when your mind is free and clear before the stresses of the day have crept in.
So, when you wake up in the morning, give yourself at least 2 minutes. Close your eyes and meditate. Take deep breathes and relax yourself. Remember whoever you believe in and start your day on a beautiful and positive note.
- Listen to music with affirmations:
Start your day by listening to music which has good affirmations. It could be anything, like a devotional song, or anything which reminds you of your goal. Uplifting music can have a direct impact on our mood, especially in the morning. It charges us emotionally and tunes us into a more positive outlook of the day ahead.
When music is combined with good affirmations, it creates magic. Because when the brain listens something in the form of music, it gets synced into our system and your whole day changes according to that.
- Think about your goals:
In the morning, before you get up from the bed, give yourself a few minutes and think about your goals. It could be the goals is for the day, goals for the week or your life goals. Get up from your bed while thinking about it.
Mornings are the golden time of the day. It sets the tone for the whole day. The things you do in the first hour prepares your mind and sets you up for the entire day. So, take time to think about your plans for the future.
