AR Rahman to make debut as a writer and producer with this movie
Music maestro AR Rahman is currently, in news. The talented musician has turned into writer and producer with his debut movie ’99 Songs’. The film will be produced under the banner of Rahman's production house YM Movies, Jio Studios and Ideal Entertainment.
In a recent statement the Oscar winner said, “I am very excited to announce the release of my very first film as a producer and writer, 99 songs a young passionate love story, with music as its soul. My production company, YM movies is thrilled to have Jio Studios as a partner on this really special venture. 99 songs will be released in cinemas worldwide in three languages Hindi, Tamil, Telugu on 21st June 2019. I thank you all for the love support and encouragement you have showered on me.”
The film is directed by Vishwesh Krishnamoorthy and has Ehan Bhat and Edilsy Vargas on the lead roles.
