Woman raped by neighbour in UP
Bhadohi (UP): A 25-year-old married woman was allegedly raped by a neighbor in Bhadohi district of Uttar Pradesh, police said on Tuesday.
According to a complaint filed by the woman's father-in-law, a neighbor sneaked into their home when she, along with her son, had gone to a Durga Puja pandal in her village in the Gopiganj police station area on Sunday evening.
After she returned home, the man allegedly raped her and fled.
Superintendent of Police Ram Badan Singh said efforts were on to nab the accused.
The woman has been sent for medical examination, the police officer said.
