Education is tremendously becoming an important aspect of living in India. It wouldn’t be justifiable to say every – but more than half families have understood how education can change a life.

Some students belong to a really poor background. Their parents make them wait for books because whatever they earn doesn’t help much.

Sandeep Kumar – Yes! That person who helped over 4000 children gets books and other study materials.

Out of the blue, he turned out as a Robin Hood for these children.

Don’t you want to know how and why Sandeep has decided to take this step?

Well, he takes care of an NGO called Open Eye Foundation.

It all started when Sandeep visited some colleges, government schools, and other areas where needy students used to study. He surveyed and identified such students who weren’t able to get books and study materials.

In the last 2 years, he has collected around 10,000 books. Apart from this, Sandeep’s NGO has also adopted 200 children and promised to provide them required study-related support.

On Sandeep’s journey, many people across the country have shown appreciation. In fact, many people wanted to join such an astounding movement.

Here are a few words from Sandeep: “When I returned to Chandigarh, I found everything terrible here. I was looking at the books and wondering whether these can be of any use, or not. So, I thought, why shouldn’t I collect more books to support the needy ones.”

“There are many organizations in our area where many poor children arrive to get free tuition. We go to schools, collect books, ask the principal or teacher to arrange names of those students who need study material and books.”

There’s something really fascinating about Sandeep’s plan. Students who get study material and books are expected to return everything they receive when the session ends.
