The All New PBM-2500 Portable Beveling Machine Has Arrived
WEBSTER, Texas: The new PBM-2500 Portable Beveling Machine (PBM) is now available for sale and/or rent through any of SPR's 10 locations throughout the US and Canada. The PBM-2500 is the first product in a family of machines that will ultimately cover pipes ranging in size from ½" through 26". Five additional beveling machines will be included in the future lineup. The PBM-2500 is the First of a New Line of Portable Beveling Machines.
The PBM machines are designed for safety and durability; the current (standard) unit comes with an inside diameter (ID) mounting range of 1" to 2.5" and an outside diameter (OD) cutting range of 1.0625" to 2.5." Future accessories include a ½" mandrel package, a 2.5" to 4" extended mandrel package, and a flange facer. Each of these accessories are interchangeable in minimal time. "Durability is built into the design in order to reduce breakage and the costs of consumables and tool bits," says Al Shiyou, President of SPR.
