Slight rise in night temperatures in Rajasthan
Jaipur: Night temperatures rose marginally in Rajasthan, where Ganganagar was the coldest place in the state at 7 degrees Celsius, the Meteorological (MeT) Department here said on Monday.
Jaisalmer, Pilani, Bikaner, Churu, Alwar and Jaipur recorded a minimum of 7.3, 7.4, 8.5, 8.6, 8.8 and 10.4 degrees Celsius respectively, it said.
'Dense' to 'very dense' fog occurred at a few places in Jaipur, Bharatpur and Bikaner divisions, the MeT Department said.
According to the India Meteorological Department, a 'very dense' fog is when the visibility is between 0 and 50 metres. In case of a 'dense' fog, the visibility is between 51 and 200 metres.
The weather conditions would remain the same during the next 24 hours, the local MeT office forecast.
