"These leaders are a constant beacon of hope and promise, deeply committed to making education better than it has ever been. No year has better exemplified that commitment than 2020."- said Steve Grey, Exec. Director at RTM Business Group.

The winners were selected by the RTM Advisory group and Event Leads, a small group of Superintendents, Asst. Superintendents, Chief Academic Officers and CIOs in K-12.

Due to Covid-19 concerns, the Awards were sent to the recipients and they were asked to deliver their speeches virtually to a group of invited attendees. The Winners, as well as the nominees in every category, have been invited to speak at the RTM K-12 events in 2021, to share their stories, advice, "words on equity", and tenets of their leadership style.
