12 new features that may change the way you use WhatsApp
As it is one of the most widely-used mode of communication and it’s no surprise to see features getting added to WhatsApp. Here we list out 12 new features that may change the way you use WhatsApp
1. To keep your chats more secure – This feature is already available for the Iphone users, this features will allow users to add a security layer to the app and will open only according to the settings which you have selected, which provides you add on benefit to select the time duration i.e from immediately, after 1 minutes, from 10 minutes and after 30 minutes.
2. Blocking the option of taking chat screenshots - It is one of the biggest change that is yet to come to WhatsApp, this will help to block users to take screenshots of chats, only if they enable biometric authentication.
3. To find out how frequently a message has been forwarded – This feature will help the users to see how many a message was forwarded in the ‘Forwarding Info’ tab.
4. Changing the way audio files are send on WhatsApp – This feature will allow users to play the audio files before sending it. Also, it will the users to send 30 files at once.
5. Dark mode for better ‘visibility’ – This is the most awaited feature that users are waiting for. This mode has been seen on various windows of the instant messaging app including main settings, account settings, data and storage usage settings.
6. Support for automatic playing of voice messages - WhatsApp will soon allow its users to play messages sequential. In simple terms, the users won’t have to press play on each message as the next message will play automatically as soon as first one ends playing.
7. Using multiples apps for videos within WhatsApp – This feature is claimed to allow users to watch videos from Youtube, Facebook, Instagram and so on. Moreover, it will continue to play these videos even if you go to other application.
8. Opening links in WhatsApp set to become easier - WhatsApp is also working on launching In-App Browser, which will open when the users will try to open a link.
9. Stickers are also to get better – WhatsApp will also add few more animated stickers like GIFs , these stickers can ne included in existing stickers pack.
10. Hiding chats may become simpler – WhatsApp is also working on adding an option that will allow the users to control whether chats get unarchived when a new message arrives.
11. Checking if an image sent is fake or real – This feature will allow the users to check whether any news or information related to that image is fake or real.
12. More options in emojis - WhatsApp is said to replace the current emojis sticker in the doodle picker to make their official emojis.
