While Pappu Mishra (Priyaank Sharma) the host of a reality show ‘Musibat Odh Li Maine’, who is also from Karnalganj, exposes Baba Bhandari's histrionics from a TV studio in Delhi, ironically falls prey to Baba Bhandari and that's how Pappu Mishra’s journey with Mandira begins.

Review: ‘Sab Kushal Mangal’ written by director Karan Viswanath makes half-hearted attempts at underlining social ills like forced marriages and dowry. Though the film tried to serve comedy, the problematic plot didn’t turn out to be funny.

What works in the film’s favour is that the director draws confident performances from newbies Priyaank Sharma (Son of Padmini Kolhapure) and Riva Kishan (Daughter of Ravi Kishan), though they lack the chemistry between them.

The movie clearly belongs to Akshaye Khanna as he delivers an impressive performance, even Satish Kaushik and Supriya Pathak Kapur are excellent. Even though they get very little screen time.

While the first half of the film is erratic, the second half is predictable. Overall, the tone of the film remains light. The music is average, and though the songs are well shot, most of them seem like untimely placed, and this further makes the already long runtime of the film seem like a drag. Moreover, the background score is too loud and jarring.

However, what has worked against the film is not its story, but the execution. If more focus was given into writing, the output could have been an impactful one that too with a social message to spread.
