Rare Display of Original Paintings by World-Famous Russian Artist

MURRIETA, Calif.: A California art gallery (see http://www.artbyinna.com) is displaying original paintings by acclaimed Russian artist Ekaterina Grigoryjeva. For the first time ever, people in the U.S. can now order prints on canvas or metal of these paintings. Prints can be ordered in-person or from the gallery's website.
Grigoryjeva's oil paintings are in major museums and private collections in England, France, Germany, Italy, Russia, Sweden and Switzerland. Her 1998 painting, titled Wait and Dream, is in the residence of Vladamir Putin.
Her works have been described by art critics as "magnificently glimmering" and "giving off a powerful impulse of vital energies, kindness and joy". They were created primarily with a palette knife, so they have a great deal of texture. The content is often abstract representations of flower and foliage.
Art lovers in southern California are welcome to see the paintings in the gallery during the Opening Reception on March 14 from 2-6 - which would have been her 80th birthday - or during the gallery's usual hours (Tuesday-Friday 2-7, Saturday 11-5).
Location: The Art By Inna Gallery is in the Murrieta Town Center, 39825 Alta Murrieta Drive in Murrieta. It is in the uphill section of the Center, two doors to the right of the Burlington store.
