Former Model Accuses Jackky Bhagnani and 8 Others of Rape and Molestation, FIR Registered
A former model and songwriter based in Mumbai has lodged a complaint against nine established members of the Hindi film industry for rape and molestation. Reportedly, actor-producer Jackky Bhagnani has also been named in the FIR filed by Bandra police in connection with the case.
Bollywood photographer Colston Julian, founder of talent management company Kwan Entertainment Anirban Blah, and Krishan Kumar of T-series are among the accused named in the FIR. The victim claims that the incidents of alleged sexual harassment have taken place since 2015 and said that she had complained to the police about the men a month ago, however, no arrests have been made yet.
The former model had reportedly approached Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Zone 10, Dr Maheshwar Reddy on May 10. He had then directed an officer at Andheri police station to record her statement. Her statement was recorded on May 18 and the matter was forwarded to Zone 9 DCP office in Bandra.
