DROR partners with MobiKwik to launch first-ever ‘Social Distancing Contest’
The one-of-a-kind contest, undertaken by the personal safety app, seeks to raise awareness on the importance of Social distancing in the light of the COVID-19 pandemic

National: In a bid to encourage people to practice social distancing to overcome the COVID-19 global pandemic, DROR, India’s first personal safety app to introduce ‘social distancing score’, launched a first of its kind ‘Social Distancing Contest’, in association with MobiKwik. The contest aims to inspire and felicitate people who are adhering to the suggested health advisories. Through the created platform, users will now be able to share their social distancing score and drive forward the message through this thought-led community-driven initiative that is playing a vital role in flattening the curve.
Amplifying the core message of the contest by reaching out to all android users, the contest revolves around the app’s pioneering feature, ‘Social Distancing Score’. To participate in the contest, users must register in DROR’s community post which they can keep track of their daily, weekly and fortnightly social distancing scores. The users will have to share their Social Distancing score across social networking sites such as Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. With the onus to make the contest a highly-interactive one, users can also share their social distancing picture while sharing their scores and show everyone how they are maintaining social distancing.
Based on these scores, the Social Distancing Contest will choose a few lucky winners with the highest social distancing scores and reward them with wallet-cash vouchers up to INR 5000 through MobiKwik digital wallet.

1. DROR Calculates your social distancing score using bluetooth technology basis number of people you meet
2. DROR takes two things in consideration:
a. How close is any individual by measuring intensity of bluetooth
b. Time that you spent with those people
3. Gives you Daily, Weekly & 14 days score as 14 days is outer limit in case someone infected you 14 days back
4. DROR also gives you reminder every 3 hrs to wash hands
5. Social distancing ie very important as CORONA is highly communicable disease which has R0(R Naught) between 2-2.5 which is very dangerous. So our fight is against the high infectious nature of the virus
6. DROR Safety APP also has Panic button which alarms DROR command Center and we arrange for required help immediately such as Ambulance, emergency helplines, etc.
