Atlanta: Everything we loved about the 1980s, 1990s and the new millennium will be under one roof on Saturday, November 16th!

The Georgia-based nonprofit organization, Positive Arts Movement is hosting their highly anticipated annual holiday fundraiser. Coming together to raise funds for an excellent cause, the festivities will be held at an upscale boutique beauty and barber salon in the heart of the city. Labeled a Pop-up Party with a Purpose, the gathering  will be centered around music, dancing, food and live entertainment with a throwback theme. This year's party will kick off the holiday season with flair.

"We decided to do things a little differently this year. I will be hosting the event this year and it is my goal for everybody to unwind, relax and have a great time," —film director, producer and P.A.M. co-founder Christopher "SLAM" Williams

Founded in 2011, Positive Arts Movement, Inc. is a 501c3 organization whose mission is to work to strengthen, educate, and reintroduce the value of the performing arts to empower underserved communities across the country. With an array of talented members across all genres, the Positive Arts Movement, Inc. has championed such causes as creating awareness on human trafficking, social justice, and overall wellness for youth and adults. This party is a catalyst for upward movement for the organization's forthcoming year.

"This is a big event for us as we will be introducing and re-launching several initiatives in 2020," says P.A.M. co-founder of and Executive Director, Angela Carswell

P.A.M.'s profound cultural impact has been displayed through a multitude of stage productions, live performances, school, community, and corporate assemblies and international campaigns. Subsequently the production earned the honors of January 20th being officialized as Rimshot Day.

A $25 donation is requested to attend and enjoy the night of entertainment. Proceeds from the November hip-hop cultured event will go toward arts and educational programming for the greater Atlanta community.
