AP records 175 new COVID-19 cases
Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh reported 175 new cases in the 24 hours ending 9 am on Saturday, pushing the caseload to 8,91,563 while the toll went up to 7,182 with two more deaths.
According to the latest bulletin, 132 recoveries were reported during the period, taking the cumulative tally to 8,83,113.
The state now has 1,268 active coronavirus cases, it said.
Chittoor reported 40, East Godavari 31, Krishna 24, Visakhapatnam 20, and Guntur 15 new cases of the infection.
The remaining eight districts added less than 10 new cases each.
Chittoor and Anantapuramu also reported one fresh fatality each.
