ORLANDO, Fla.: Family-based education company Mo'J Music, LLC has released their mobile application The Rock it Robins: World of Music via the Apple and Google application stores worldwide. After an extensive five-year development process, the application entered its final production stages late last year during the pandemic. It underwent its first beta testing among family and friends during the recent 2020 holiday season.

Geared toward young children ages two-to-nine, The Rock it Robins: World of Music provides an engaging way to learn how over 70 instruments from various countries are designed, played, and produce sound. The app follows five animated bird characters around the world (Peeks, Li-Li, Brady-Bray, Jay-B, and Nixy), allowing kids to select individual instruments or explore diverse sound combinations by playing different instruments together. There is also the ability to explore each world scene and find other fun and quirky characters to interact with.

Created by Mo'J Music LLC and their team of music educators and professional musicians, The Rock it Robins: World of Music is an excellent resource for teachers and homeschool parents. Children can discover and learn independently or be guided by an adult or teacher using the built-in activities and lesson plans. Each country features a folk song, exciting craft project, and a fully developed lesson plan that targets Common Core Standards. Every sound sequence supports fundamental musical learning by introducing and reinforcing concepts such as high-low, slow-fast, and steady beat. All lesson plans have been adapted to meet in-class and online learning needs.

Mo'J Music was founded in 2007 by a husband and wife team, Jason & Monica Anderson. Professional musicians at night and music educators by day, Jason and Monica saw the need for a more well-rounded, global inclusive approach to learning music for young children. In 2015, when they began producing the app, Mo'J Music added their son and daughter to the team, along with a diverse group of professional musician friends & educators from around the world to create the app. The entire family worked together to create all of the illustrations and music for each country. Collectively, they composed the Robins' theme song, recorded folk songs in nine different languages (English, Spanish, Arabic, Mandarin, German, Ghanaian, Portuguese, Urdu, and Japanese), produced 140 instructional narration audio clips, and tirelessly play-tested the entire application.
