2 killed as car hits two-wheeler in UP's Banda
Banda (UP): Two men were killed when their two-wheeler was hit by a car in this district of Uttar Pradesh, police said on Monday.
According to SHO, Girwa police station Baljeet Singh, the accident occurred near Mahua village on Sunday, when three persons riding a motorcycle got seriously injured after being hit by a car.
He said the injured were rushed to the district hospital, where Dayaram (40) was declared dead by the doctors. His daughter Asha and a relative, Chunnu (45), were sent to Kanpur for treatment, where Chunnu succumbed to his injuries.
Singh said none of the three was wearing a helmet while riding the motorcycle.
The bodies were handed over to the family members after conducting a post-mortem, the police said, adding that efforts are on to trace the car.
