Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai shooting halts: Sachin Tyagi and a few crew members test positive
Mumbai: Entertainment industry is one of the worst-hit by the lethal coronavirus pandemic. The whole industry was on a standstill for nearly 3 months. It was only in early July that the production houses of the daily soaps had commenced with the shooting. While every production house is doing their best to keep the show running without any hiccups, things aren’t as simple as before.
One more instance of a show’s shooting being put to a halt due to the menace of coronavirus has surfaced– this time it is ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ from Star Plus. Sachin Tyagi, who plays the role of Manish Goenka in the show, and a few other crew members have been tested positive of the coronavirus.
According to a source who spilt the beans by sharing, "Sachin Tyagi was running a fever and hence he got himself tested. His results came a day before, after which a few other crew members who also felt symptoms, got themselves tested. Some of them came negative and some positive. As of now, more members of the show including actors have got their tests done and now they are waiting for the results."
The production house is currently silent on how it is tackling with the situation at hand.
A similar situation was faced by Ekta Kapoor’s show ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ when the lead actor Parth Samthaan, who plays the role of Anurag Basu in the daily opera, was tested positive for the coronavirus just after the shootings were resumed. However, Parth has joined the team on the shoots after sharing the news of his negative reports on Instagram.
