Wizard World has partnered with Reading Partners in L.A., asking fans to donate age-appropriate comics and other reading material at Ghostbusters Fan Fest on June 8.

LOS ANGELES: Wizard World is proud to team with the Los Angeles Area section of Reading Partners, which mobilizes communities to provide students with the proven, individualized reading support they need to read at grade level by fourth grade. Reading Partners helps low-income students move toward or achieve reading proficiency by helping them master key reading skills through data-informed, curriculum-driven, one-on-one volunteer tutoring. Wizard World is asking fans to bring child-appropriate (grades K-4 preferred) graphic novels, comics, science fiction books, or any other similar materials to Ghostbusters Fan Fest presented by Wizard World, June 8 at Sony Pictures Studio Lot and leave them in a specially marked donation receptacle near the Special Guest Registration desk.

As a Thank You, fans who donate two or more items to Reading Partners during Ghostbusters Fan Fest will receive a free pre-autographed celebrity photo from a selection of previous Wizard World guests. These photographs are available to fans on a first-come, first-served basis while supply lasts, one per family donation per day, at the full discretion of Wizard World.
