For every country to be at peace, their political, trade and other international relations that need to be discussed and agreed upon. For these alliances, many Model United Nations, World Summits and various other conferences are conducted where countries can sit and sort out their differences by keeping their logic forward. This is very important as sometimes a country's growing sector might depend on it. Considering the trade relations involving the import and export business has a crucial impact as the tariffs imposed by one country may not be appealing to the other resulting in the reverse retaliation. This results in unintended consequences that hamper the image of many industries in the long run.

Recently, Donald Trump, the President of United States and the Apple CEO Tim Cook had a dinner date on Friday, in Bedminster at Trump’s Golf Club where the later had been reprimanded for not producing more of its products in the U.S rather than in other countries. The President on Friday left a message on Twitter saying that "Having dinner tonight with Tim Cook of Apple. They will be spending vast sums of money in the U.S Great!", which had become sensational news within some time of his tweet. The two of them have dined together before also, and Trump is in all praise for Cook as he always calls him directly in case of any problem rather than involving any intermediate consultants defining him to be a great executive. Although both the parties remained silent after the news, there was a fruitful discussion held with some flexible outcomes.

Now coming to the reason behind the dinner date is that Apple does its majority of the assembly of the final products in China. But soon due to the trade war between the U.S and China still not resolved, U.S has announced tariffs on the Chinese imports. As a result, it is affecting the iPhone manufacturer putting it at an unpleasant situation relative to Samsung. So, Apple products are at risk due to this Trump tariff rules as before only the President had announced that he wants a maximum of the products to be made in the U.S. rather than being made in other countries.

Hence, the outcome was that Chinese imports under tariff were kept on hold until December 15th. And it was announced on Tuesday, the next week after the dinner that to remove any impact on the U.S customers during the Christmas season this step has been taken in favour of the country. He also said that still some Chinese negotiators are in productive talks and are expected to meet in September So, levies on the iPhones and MacBook's have been delayed while even on some products it is to be under the tariff plan that is scheduled from next month bringing a bit of relaxation to Apple. As, the 10 per cent tariff would be unfair as it would put one of its biggest competitors, Samsung in profit.

Despite all these differences, there was never a communication gap between both. Still, Cook was trying hard to convince Trump regarding this issue as it was boosting the other competitors. And Apple is a great American based company helped by the President although for a short-term to ease their work for some time.
