Review: As the title suggests, the movie showcases the war between the two sturdy action stars, Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff. The film is surely a huge treat for the fans of the two A-listed actors. Apart from the dynamic action scenes, the film also has thrills, stunts, twists, explosions, and masala that are sure to keep the audience engrossed in the initial half.  However, in the final half, the movie goes awry and lacks a proper story.

The plotline of the film has got a significant number of loopholes. However, if we speak in defense of War, the movie renders what it had really promised in its trailer – two handsome men clashing fiercely against each other, showing off their abs, and high-profile, dynamic chasing segments that would keep the viewers on the extreme edge of their seats.

Now, coming to the performances of the cast of the movie, both the lead actors Hrithik and Tiger are quite amazing in their individual roles. Vaani Kapoor plays a very small role and the actress is seen after the initial half. With just a song and three scenes, Vaani does her bit in keeping up the film’s glamour quotient.

The narrative of the film includes all the essential components, action, music, drama, romance, car chases, and exotic location, making war a complete entertainer. In an attempt to make the movie Hollywood-esque, film director Siddharth Anand has created many stunts to revive the thrills, which you must have watched in films, such as Fast and Furious and Mission Impossible.

Overall, although the appreciative dialogue baazi and relentless action seem to be quite interesting and exciting, yet the not-so-unique screenplay and predictable storyline hold War from leaving an impact. The movie may be a big crowd-puller; however, it is absolutely not a path-breaking, Bollywood cinema. That being said, the movie may entertain you and maybe a good watch for the action film buffs out there.
