Review: Directed by Rohan Sippy, written by Anuvab Pal, and produced by Ramesh Sippy, ‘Wakaalat From Home’ is a 10-episode series, on a zoom call. The artists get creative, and deliver Wakaalat From Home, while we were learning to cook and bake online.

It is a fun twist to the work-from-home culture that we all have embraced, due to the nationwide lockdown. And this show presents, one such WFH scenario, where the court or legal proceedings of cases, of lesser importance, have moved online via zoom calls.

When it comes to performances, the show has a stellar star-cast featuring Nidhi Singh, Sumeet Vyas, Kubbra Sait and Gopal Dutt. The most celebrated digital duo Sumeet Vyas and Nidhi Singh, from Permanent Roommates, have reunited as a couple on Wakaalat From Home.

Sumeet Vyas is brilliant, while Nidhi Singh is amazing. Gopal Dutt, with his expression and dialogues, would make the viewers laugh hard. Even Kubbra Sait is equally good. To make the virtual courtroom drama entertaining, and worth binge-watching, the brilliant cast has left no stone unturned.

Overall, the laughs, the dialogues, the expressions - everything would keep the viewers entertained. If you are looking for some comedy-drama, this one-hour series, makes up for a delightful entertainer, with its emotions in the right place.
