Vick Kaushal to play the role of Ashwatthama

Film director Aditya Dhar's film ‘Uri The Surgical Strike’ was a superhit film and a turning point in the Bollywood industry as well as in Vicky Kaushal’s career. After becoming Major Vihan Singh Shergil, Vicky Kaushal is now going to play the role of Mahabharat's character Ashwaththama. He has again signed the film of director Aditya Dhar and it is signed by Ronnie Screwvala.

Vicky has started preparations for his forthcoming film. This film will be a period-time drama and will play a mythological character. According to sources, before the release of Uri, producer Ronnie Screwwala had promised Vicky that the shoot for this film will start from this year only.

Significantly, Ashwaththama, was the son of Guru Dronacharya and Kripa, who had fought against Pandav in the battle of Kurukshetra of Mahabharata and in favor of Kaurava. Ashwatthama was born as a gift given by Lord Shiva and he is considered Chiranjeevi, as long as there is Kaliyuga, he will be alive.

Apart from this film, Vicky Kaushal will be seen in the forthcoming Udham Singh biopic of film Takht and Sujit Singh. In addition to this film, Aditya Dhar has already started shooting of this film and the makers have planned to release this film in mid-2020.
