Top Indie Music Singer-Songwriter Adam Bloom Releases New EP

Adam Bloom's new 6-Song EP "Inside of Me" Releases Before Appearances at Songwriter Showcases of America Original Music Festival

MELBOURNE: Adam Bloom is thrilled to announce the release of his latest EP, now available at all major online services, including Apple Music, iTunes, Spotify and ReverbNation. The EP includes the indie radio hit "Tearing Down the Mission."

Inside of Me is a 6-song collection of new material ranging everywhere from Alt-Folk, Americana, to Pop. All tracks are scheduled to be released as singles on Spotify and Apple Music in the coming months.

Adam Bloom, a founding member of both The Londons and The Blooms, began a new solo career as an indie singer/songwriter just last year.

"I'm prouder of this work than any other in my entire music career," said Adam Bloom. "These tracks, although very personal, have proven to resonate with audiences. I'm looking forward to the appearance on the main stage in Daytona and sharing these songs."

Adam Bloom (adambloommusic.com) has been selected to be featured and host the "Songwriters-in-the-Round" on the main stage at the 8th Annual Main Street Live Original Music and Art Festival in Daytona Beach, FL on February 8. The original music festival, sponsored by the Songwriter Showcases of America, will feature over 85 artists on 19 stages.

Pre-release versions of "Tearing Down the Mission" have been picked up on indie radio shows in five different countries. "I wasn't planning to put out an EP, but the demand to get final versions of both "Inside of Me" and "Tearing Down the Mission" out meant we had to put something out quickly," Adam said. "The response has been better than expected."

"Tearing Down the Mission" was written just after the unfortunate fire at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris and is a song about losing the cultural attachments to our past. "Inside of Me" is a love song written about the early stages of the relationship with his wife.

"The surprising thing about music, at least what I've found, is the more personal you get with the lyrics, the more the audience seems to relate," Adam said.  "Art is about tearing down those walls between the artist and audience."
