As the founder and CEO of pet-tech company Puppy Mama, and a decorated Iraq-War veteran, Theresa Piasta has taken her love for dogs to the next level by creating a how-to guide for both new and experienced doodle parents.

STANFORD, Calif.: On Thursday, November 7th from 6-8pm, students at Stanford University and pet lovers in the area are welcome to attend "Raising a Doodle: Heartwarming Stories from Dog Parents Around the World." Come out to the Stanford Bookstore and mix and mingle with other animal lovers, grab your copy of this fun and beneficial read, and meet the truly remarkable author Theresa in person!

What:  With dog expert interviews covering practical tips on training, health, grooming, and canine therapy, plus more than one hundred stories and photos from the Puppy Mama community, this coffee table book is an entertaining roadmap to doodle parenthood. Theresa's dog Waffles inspired her to build a community of women who love their dogs like family.

November 7th's event will be a fun way for pet lovers to meet Theresa and pick up a signed copy of "Raising Doodle." Two women will be in attendance to read their featured stories aloud to guests; powerful stories how dogs are helping them cope with anxiety, depression and miscarriages. This event is open to everyone and free to attend.

Theresa Piasta is the Founder and CEO of Puppy Mama, a pet-tech company enhancing the lives of dog moms around the world. During her 14-month Iraq deployment in 2008, Theresa led a large team to defend thousands of soldiers and contractors residing on Forward Operating Base (FOB) Delta near the Iranian border. She was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for her service. Theresa attended the Stanford Graduate School of Business Ignite program in 2016 and received a BA in Economics from Wellesley College in 2006.
