Social worker and senior journalist Ganesh Pandey starts tree plantation in UP's Nibiya

Meja (Prayagraj): The Yogi government has set a target of planting a total of 30 crore trees in the massive plantation campaign in July, an ambitious plan of the UP government. This goal has been almost achieved, by joining this campaign, social worker and senior journalist of Maharashtra's Mumbai Daily Pehla Samachar, Ganesh Pandey, took forward the tree plantation campaign in village Nibaiya, his residence and planted 15 trees, which includes virtuous trees like mango, amla, guava, shisham, etc.

He said, "More attention and awareness from the government and the nodal forest officers of the district is needed for the maintenance of trees and to protect them from arrows and animals, cattles. Only then this campaign will become successful. Along with planting a tree, its protection and maintenance is also important. Every person needs to cooperate in this campaign, so that the environment can be saved."
