The trailer of ‘Kabir Singh’, Shahid Kapoor’s upcoming movie which is set to release on June 21, 2019, was dropped on Monday. As the trailer gave us a brief idea into the basic plotline of the movie, within a night it turned out to be a treasure trove of memes for fans on social media. Not only have fans managed to pick up the exact dialogues in order to create the memes but some have also not held back from gushing over just how transformed the actor looks after his previous movie, ‘Padmavaat’.

The trailer which dropped on Monday, other than becoming an obvious subject of memes, also gave us a look into the storyline. We are introduced to Kapoor’s Kabir Singh, a doctor turned alcoholic, who tries to cope with the loss of his love. In a brief flashback we see a college student, Kabir, falling in love with his fellow classmate whom he protects from goons and helps her with her medical examination. The film is an adaptation of Vanga’s own Telugu movie, ‘Arjun Reddy’ (2017). Other than Kapoor, the film also stars Kiara Advani as Preethi, Suresh Oberoi as Kabir’s father, and Arjan Bajwa as Kabir’s fellow worker.
