Rupali Bhosle is prepping up for her Marathi play, Gandhi Hatya Ani Mi. The play will be performed on the 20th and the 24th of December at 4.30pm and 5pm in Gadkari Rangyatan in Thane and Yashwantrao Kothrud in Pune respectively.
Rupali Bhosle is a powerful actor and is known for her powerful performances. She is known to go to extremes to prepare for her character. For this play, she had to get rid of her highlights on her hair and colour it dark. She is known to take up such challenges for her characters, be it theatre or cinema.
Talking about the preparations for her latest play, Rupali said, “I love preparing well for the characters. It is difficult but that is the beauty of this art. Theatre is the truest form of performing arts and it really brings out the best in me. It is a homecoming always. This play is very close to me and I am very excited about performing this."
