Festival Features Celebrated Bands Including Blacklist, Ash Code and Kaelan Mikla, Renowned DJs, and a 'Dark Market', to be Held at the Brooklyn Bazaar

NEW YORK: Brooklyn, New York, is playing host to the fifth anniversary of A Murder of Crows, the annual Goth and post-punk music festival that brings together some of the genres' most iconic bands and DJs for a weekend of live music and entertainment.  The event includes the Dark Market, "a darker approach to shopping for clothing, merchandise and memorability."

Among the highlights is the reunion of Blacklist, a popular post punk band of the 2000's whose much-anticipated return is already creating a major buzz within the Alternative music community. Several bands will also be making their first New York appearance, including the all-female trio of Kaelan Mikla, which will be opening for The Cure at the Rose Bowl the very same week.

A Murder of Crows will be held at the Brooklyn Bazaar, 150 Greenpoint Avenue, Brooklyn, New York, on Labor Day weekend, August 31 and September 1, 2019, from 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM each day.  Tickets are $60 for the two-day admission and $85 for the VIP package that includes an official festival t-shirt, a tote bag, poster and commemorative pin.  A full list of performers and event information is available at https://www.redpartynyc.com/amoc.

"A Murder of Crows' festival is all about throwing a great party and having a good time," said Festival Producer Sean Templar.  "But we also want to make sure that it's always all-inclusive, a place where everyone can express their own unique personalities and musical tastes in a safe and secure environment."

Back in 'Black'
Saturday's headliners include the one-time kings of the Gotham post-punk scene, Blacklist, which will be reuniting for the first time since their break-up eight years ago. Sunday's headliners include Ash Code, which is making their New York debut, and Kaelan Mikla.

Festival DJs include Sean Templar himself, as well as festival regulars like England's Martin Oldgoth,Long Beach's DJ Dave Bats, New York's Xris SMack, and DJ Matt V Christ.

Once again, 100% of the vendor fees from the Dark Market will be donated to The Sophie Lancaster Foundation.
