'To heal, we must let go' says Weiss

SAN DIEGO: People who are grieving are looking for relief. The problem is, the pain is so profound, not much will work to help. 'This is where prayer comes to the rescue,' says Golden Prayer author Edward Weiss.

Weiss, whose book is currently making waves on Amazon says... 'prayer reminds us that whatever happened is out of our control and out of our hands.' 'This provides instant relief' says Weiss, because, 'somewhere, in the back of our minds, we blame ourselves for the tragedies of life. This causes guilt. It's the guilt that causes much of the pain. When we realize there was nothing we could have done to prevent it, we can forgive ourselves and move on with life.'

Weiss's book The Golden Prayer promises to help those in despair. It does this by offering a simple six-word prayer that Weiss says 'will work anytime, and anywhere.' Edward comments…

"The Golden Prayer is a prayer of surrender. The first thing we must do is let go of control. It is our holding on, our need for control that causes the misery. When we realize it was always in God's hands, we stop playing God and are instantly forgiven."
