'Planet Marathi OTT' to bring 10 Brand New Web Series
While being compulsorily stationed at home due to the lockdown for many days, everyone has consumed almost all Films, Web-series, and Serials. However, during the rush by audiences, Marathi films, Web-series or any other Marathi content were negligible. With an almost total absence of Marathi content on any of the OTT media, the audiences were naturally disappointed. They started to voice their sentiments on various social media platforms.
It was ‘Planet Marathi’ that announced a fresh media platform ‘Planet Marathi OTT’ for continued entertainment of Marathi audiences with Marathi content considering their sensitive mood. Working on this Planet Marathi now has arrangements to produce 10 BRAND NEW Web-series and 850 hours of special content for kids. With eminent Directors and talented artists, these 10 web-series are getting ready to visit your homes. The content for kids is both innovative and entertaining to keep them glued. ‘Planet Marathi’ will also be announcing fresh Web-films as well as Short films.
‘Planet Marathi’ is an entirely Marathi OTT Entertainment Platform conceptualized by the visionary trio of Producer Akshay Bardapurkar, Actor Pushkar Shrotri, and Music Composer Aditya Oak. The name has already started trending in the entertainment world and with their tag line ‘म मानाचा, म मराठीचा, ‘Planet Marathi’ has already started to reign the hearts of audiences. Mr. Akshay Bardapurkar, CMD for Planet Marathi OTT is fully confident that the audiences would be pleased with the content to be made available on the platform opening for audiences from December 2020.
Actor Pushkar Shrotri and Music Composer Aditya Oak have recently announced the proud presentation of Digital Theater which would be one of the important components of Planet Marathi. They maintain that their decision is a positive response to the appeal for the online release of films by Producers and Directors made by Akhil Bhartiya Marathi Chitrapat Mahamandal. The same will also make the challenging journey of the release of a film easier for film producers. The audiences will now be able to enjoy the thrills of FIRST DAY-FIRST SHOW from the comforts of their homes and based on the PAY-PER-VIEW technology. In addition, the Digital Theater would reduce the financial burden for the Producers.
Akshay Bardapurkar is backed by his varied and comprehensive experience in every aspect of film project right from production to release including the film ‘AB ani CD’, which was the first production and release for Planet Marathi. He is also behind the film ‘Gosht Eka Paithanichi’ being directed by Shantanu Rode and with an important role by Sayali Sanjeev, as well as many other projects including a scheduled film ‘Chandramukhi’ directed by Prasad Oak. Akshay Bardapurkar further observed that considering all other aspects including future audience response, the producers could consider Digital Theater as a viable alternative to the challenging journey of a film release.
