Saher Sethi (Sahher Bambba), one of the top vloggers of the country, is seeking a way to escape her family reunion. Ultimately, she manages to leave for Manali to review the very popular 'Camp Ujhi’, as a part of her vlogging assignment.

When Karan and Saher meet on the beautiful Himalayan ranges, magic is bound to happen. But can their romantic love story survive the odds?

Review: Sunny Deol’s recent directorial, Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas begins in the mesmerizing Himalayan mountains, which is more or less similar to his own debut movie 'Betaab’, opposite actress Amrita Singh.

Karan is seen running a private trekking agency in Manali, Himachal Pradesh, with the name 'Camp Ujhi’. His trekking company has achieved a lot of popularity among celebrities and tourists from all over the world. When a top vlogger of India, Saher visits the camp determined that it is nothing but a scam that needs to be exposed, a love-hate relationship starts developing between the youngsters. This almost fills up the film’s first half.

Except for the truly picturesque sights of the Himalayan mountains (credits go to the very talented cinematographers Ragul Dharuman and Himman Dhameja), there isn’t anything much of worth to feel happy about. Both the primary characters, Karan Deol and Sahher Bambba, hardly have any conviction to keep the viewers engrossed. Bambba plays the character of Saher, who is a vlogger and aspiring singer. However, she does not seem much committed to any of her passion. She is continuously seen ranting and cribbing about the toughness of the trek. Deol plays the Karan, whose business is soaring high. However, he hardly seems interested in it.

Fortunately enough, the two debutants show at least some assurance in the department of acting, in spite of their improperly written characters. That being said, while Karan is quite decent in his emotional segments, he is not much impressive when it comes to dialogue delivery. Moreover, his action scenes also lack natural acting, and he seems too much stretched. Sahher, the leading lady of the film, look glamorous and confident. However, while she is good in her emotional segments, her comedy timing needs improvement.

The music of the movie is enchanting, but it ends up slackening the film’s pace. Towards the climax, the movie turns into a confrontation drama, but the conflicts fail to seem organic.

Overall, for a movie that promises to be a sweet love story, better and more crackling chemistry between the lead actors is desirable to build memorable moments. It is clear that Sunny Deol wished to create a simple and pure love story. But, the flat narrative and poor chemistry are likely to make the future of the film bleak.

If you are inquisitive to know if you should go experience Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas on the big screen, you must be clear by now that it is not a recommended watch. However, if you are a Sunny Deol fan and are excited to watch his son make his debut, then you can go ahead and give the film your love.
