The inspiring, meditative song has received innumerable positive reviews and has been successful in striking the right chords of the listeners. It is on its way to create the history, yet again.

The song is rendered by the melody queen Anuradha Paudwal. Talking about the song, ace singer Anuradha Paudwal says, "Ram is the icon of Bharat desh! One revered by saints from every religion. Rahim Kabir Guru Nanak Tulsidas everyone has mentioned Ram in their verses. Here is an invocation to Bhagwan Ram to sort out problem and come to his own decision and give verdict pertaining to his own temple in Ayodhya."

Ajay Jaswal and Apeksha Jaswal of Apeksha Music said, "With this song, we wish to revive and develop the country's cultural and spiritual consciousness, particularly globally who are unaware of Indian traditions and values."

Adding to it, DJ Sheizwood said, "Raghupati Raghav is one devotional song, which is loved by all. The bhajan goes on to affirm the presence of ‘Sita Ram’, showering praise on them, concluding thus, God and Allah are your names / May God bestow wisdom on all. If ‘Father of the Nation’ didn't believe in diversification of caste and religion then why should we!” He further added, “This is one of my best compositions so far. There was pressure to justify the essence of the song, I am happy that the audiences are liking it."
