Outlaws Publishing Storms The Charts With Five Westerns In The Top Ten

June saw a huge hike in sales of Outlaws Publishing's Westerns—a hike that led to five of their latest titles taking positions within the top ten on the Western bestseller chart.

MIDLOTHIAN, Texas: Mike Mackessy led the way with his number one bestseller "Broken Dog Ranch" sitting at the top, and "Down From The Mountain" sitting at number two. C. Wayne Winkle scored the number three position with "The Searcher," and two Paul L. Thompson releases scored the number eight and number nine positions.

June was a record month for Outlaws Publishing—a month that proves Western readers are searching more than ever for great Westerns to read. In addition to dominating the top ten, Outlaws placed twenty other titles inside the top one hundred throughout the month, including two other Paul L. Thompson releases and the new C. Wayne Winkle sequel, "Tennyson St. John: The Searcher Book 2."

"I'm extremely excited for Western readers," Outlaws Chairman J.C. Hulsey explained late last week. "Our company works hard to give them the best product we possibly can, and now they have more choices than ever before. We want to please our readers."

"Broken Dog Ranch," the number one bestseller from Mike Mackessy, tells the story of Clint Hunter the mountain man, army scout, soldier, Texas Ranger, and friend to the Crow Indians. He has to fight to overcome high taxes, rustlers, and cheating businessmen. Clint, his family, and crew exemplify the Spirit of the West.

For the past few years, Outlaws Publishing has been turning out Western hits with increasing speed. Top selling authors like Paul L. Thompson, C. Wayne Winkle, John Buzzard, Dave Sebeslav and Mike Mackessy have made Outlaws their home.
