Founded by Reed Hastings and Marc Randolph in the year of 1997, with its headquarters in Scotts Valley, California, Netflix is a mogul in the internet media service provider industry. Currently ranking seventh worldwide, Netflix has a whole bunch of movies, shows, series and originals that are an in-house production of Netflix themselves. The world's leading media subscription service has innovation going hand in hand that has made it set a mark that makes it stand out in the modern era of internet entertainment.

From originals like The Order, Tuca and Bertie, One Day at a Time, The End of the World, Mindhunter, Stranger Things, Bojack Horseman, Orange is the New Black to Scared Games and Thirteen Reasons Why - the list of Netflix originals is an endless and an immensely popular one.

What's with Netflix and curative playlist chill?

If such innovative shows weren't enough, Netflix has been a hub to innovations, taking the customers personalized experience to the next level. The newest of innovations include human-curated collections of show recommendations. It is widespread across various themes, and it's being developed only for IOS at the moment. Mimicking that of a music playlist that is curated as per one's various moods, the Netflix curated a playlist of shows aims at being as efficient as that shortly.

Though an amazing feature that saves your ample amount of time, not having to rummage your brains on the internet, sadly these recommendations are just on the queue cards of testing for now.

Serving the best to their customers has always been something that this media entertainment service provider has always emphasized on. And rightly so, though an amazing feature, Netflix hasn't made any official announcements on launching this feature any time soon, worldwide.

Netflix is known to have a wide audience testing before implementing any of its proposed plans permanently to its app. And this time so, Netflix is all set to test this feature with a bunch of its special customers. So if you have that curated playlist option on your Netflix screen, you sure know you're special.

The streaming giant is on an all off on its algorithms, gearing up for its newest of innovative methods to be adorned by audience likability. We all know how Netflix and YouTube have a may watch playlist ready for us. This is through a self-automated algorithm that can give you pretty spot-on results at times. But we believe this isn't always the case though. That's the reason that Netflix has a highly different curated list that may have you going gaga over it. If you're lucky enough to be in the selected bunch of audience who gets to experience the first-hand experience of the human-curated collection recommendations, then you shall see a pop up next time you open Netflix. It takes place on my list option at the top of the app.

Netflix is notching up inch by inch, and that sure is putting a lot of trouble to the conventional cable TV business. With a net worth of three-point seven billion dollars, we sure can estimate how big of a mogul Netflix is in the media marketing.

Every reason to love this proposed feature on Netflix

Netflix generally offers a whole lot of suggestions based on the history of searches by a specific individual. But in the case of this proposed theme, the tables take an unexpected turn. Collections aren't based on themes or cookies. Quoting Netflix, these playlists are curated by their networking and creative experts and are spread under various unique jaunts like genre, tone, character traits and storyline.

Leaving behind typical recommendations, Netflix has a lot going on in its way. The streaming services of Netflix are popular for its advanced categorization system which is filled with over hundreds of niche categories ranging from Sci-fi,  fiction, action, romance, drama, thriller, animation to supernatural and much much more. Such narrowing of streaming helps the audience to cut through their way to the right content in almost no time.

Something commendable in the Netflix app is that Netflix checks it's own streaming and which are the most popular shows. It showcases the most viewed, the in-trend shows, making it an easy way to find out for viewers as to what everyone else is watching worldwide. Smart right?

The first to find out about this new Netflix strategy was Jeff Higgins, who at no time tweeted about it. Netflix is no stranger to testing its features before finalizing any of it. It so does by testing its ideas with a bunch of selected audience, and if you happen to be one of them, you would see a collection option in the place of my list. So the next time you see that collection option, you know you're surely special to Netflix.

For a change in taste, the editorial groups in the Netflix curated playlist contain tricky and trivial names that are surely out of the box. "Let's keep it light", "prize-winning movie picks", "watch, gasp, repeat", "women who rule the screen", "Dark and devious tv shows" are just a few names if the categories under this new Netflix marvel.

You have the feature of just taking in the lists from the collection icon, or you may tap on my collection list, and a list of thumbnails pop up. If again any of the collection impressed you then you can make it expand into a list of must watches.

With the makers making every move possible to connect to the fans, we sure are rooting for this feature to be featured on their app globally as soon as possible. Not being the first time that Netflix has toyed around with a myriad of ideas and suggestions, and we sure couldn't be more impressed.

Netflix also is a pioneer in launching its new feature where one is kept informed about soon to be launched products having the subscribers hooked in for more.

Can we bet on having Netflix place this feature soon in use?

Netflix being a billionaire company, has its risk stakes at a real high. That's the reason the company's caution safety whenever it tries to explore a new proposal. It is prudent of what may or may not float its boat with the customers. Rightly so it values its subscriber's likability big time. This is the reason each of its steps is calculated and well planned. We do not assure you that this feature would go worldwide, but we are hopeful that it will. With mixed emotions spurring and the right ones being more, it's a choice that network needs to take that could boost its market even more or may exactly result in the opposite.

With a small bunch of people getting this feature to try, their reviews and experience amalgamated would undoubtedly be the decision-maker for Netflix whether or not to cause a coalition of the feature to the Netflix app.
