National Institute of Ayurveda and Ministry of Ayush to organize 3 days Ayush Expo and Food Festival
Jaipur: As a part of continuing programmes of “Ayurveda Day” which was themed “Ayurveda for Poshan”, the National Institute of Ayurveda and Ministry of Ayush is organising a three day Ayush Expo and Food Festival from 11-13 March 2022 at Jawahar Kala Kendra , Jaipur. The objective of the programme is to promote Ayurveda and the role of Ayurveda in fighting malnutrition to the masses, promote and increase opportunities for Ayurveda based startups and make Ayurveda accessible for all. The three days Expo will witness live performances, live recipe demonstrations, quizzes, cultural programs by the Tribal Federation, lucky draws, lectures for the general public and many more events. The Expo will be inaugurated by Honourable State Minister of Ayush Dr. Subhash Garg and Special Guest - Mr. Ramcharan Bohra, Member of Parliament, Jaipur City and celebrity Chef Ms. Pankaj Bhadouria will be present.
Dr. Subhash Garg Minister of State for Ayurveda and Indian System of Medicine, Govt of Rajasthan, “The Ayush Expo and Food Festival will commemorate at Shilpgram, Jawahar Kala Kendra which is one of a kind. The idea was to create a platform where the essence and importance of Ayurveda must be spread worldwide. The AYUSH (Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, Homeopathy) system of medicine has been pushed by the Central Government across all states to ensure nutrition and to improve immunity, fight malnutrition and anaemia along with the treatment for lifestyle disorders. We invite one and all to be a part of the AYUSH Expo and Food Festival to become aware of how Ayurveda can change lives.”
Dr. Garg further added, “COVID-19 has opened up multiple opportunities for alternative healing and Ayurveda has been very well adopted. The industry according to 2019 valued at Rs. 335 billion and has seen extensive growth since then. We welcome all Ayurveda based start-ups to be a part of this wonderful Expo which shall give them a chance to express their objectives, products and their innovations that would make a difference in the lives of people in general through alternative healing.”
