National Film Award winning director, Shivaji Lotan Patil and popular actor, Priyadarshan Jadhav gear up for their digital debut
India: Fans of the horror-comedy genre are set for a treat as National Film Award-winning director, Shivaji Lotan Patil and popular actor, Priyadarshan Jadhav gear up for their digital debut in Hungama Play’s upcoming original show, Bhootatlela. The show is set to release in Marathi and Hindi in the first week of June, has been produced by Hungama Digital Media and CafeMarathi, written by actor-writer Yogesh Shirsat and will also star Surabhi Hande and Sayali Patil in pivotal roles.
Speaking about the upcoming show, Shivaji Lotan Patil, who won a National Film Award for his hard-hitting film – Dhag, said, “OTT platforms have given content creators a wide canvas to explore and experiment with new ideas, concepts, and formats of storytelling. I am glad to be taking the first step in the digital world with Priyadarshan who I have worked with previously in Halal. The show offers a great mix of humour and horror and is sure to be appreciated by the audience for its story and performances. I’m grateful to CafeMarathi and Hungama Play for giving me the opportunity to make my digital debut with such an entertaining show.”

Bhootatlela will soon be available to stream on Hungama Play and partner networks.
