Monalisa, Bhavin Bhanushali, Adaa Khan, Shakti Arora, Priyal Gor and Aakash Dabhade to play leads in the second season of Hungama Play’s blockbuster original show, Ratri Ke Yatri

India: Television superstars, Monalisa, Bhavin Bhanushali, Adaa Khan, Shakti Arora, Priyal Gor and Aakash Dabadhe will be seen playing lead roles in the second season of Hungama Play’s blockbuster original show, Ratri Ke Yatri. Like the first season, season two is also an anthology of five unique, dramatic and thought-provoking stories set in red light areas. The show features 12 popular actors from the TV and movie industries playing lead roles. In addition to the above, Ratri ke Yatri season two stars Rashami Desai, Sharad Malhotra, Shefali Jariwala, Meera Deosthale, Abigail Pande and Mohit Abrol.

Known for her path-breaking performances in Hindi TV shows like Nazar, Nazar 2, Bigg Boss 10, Nach Baliye 8, Monalisa is also a superstar of Bhojpuri cinema. Talking about the show and her role, she said, “The second season of Ratri Ke Yatri is truly unique as it takes viewers through the forbidden lanes of red light areas. I am playing the role of Jasmine, who despite her surroundings, has a golden heart and understands human nature. She finds herself in company of an unusual visitor one day and is instrumental in changing the visitor’s life.”

Known for playing the roles of Jigar in Baa Bahoo Aur Baby, Dr. Onir Dutt in Pavitra Rishta, Taposh in Tere Liye and Ranveer Kailash Vaghela (RV) in Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi, Shakti Arora said, “The character I am playing is quite different from the ones I have played before. I play a henchman to a local politician. He finds his staunch belief system being challenged when he visits a red light area and begins to question everything he knows.”

Renowned for her roles in Behenein, Amrit Manthan, Vish Ya Amrit: Sitara and Naagin, Adaa Khan said, “It brings me great joy to portray such a different yet challenging character. I am playing the role of Mallika, who works in a red light area. She is known for her quick wit and compassion. She doesn’t let circumstances bring her down and is forever ready to face any challenge that life throws her way. The show has some fascinating insights into human nature and behavior.”

Popular for his roles in films like De De Pyaar De and Vellapanti and  TV shows like Tenali Rama, Hoshiyaar Sahi Waqt Sahi Kadam and  Itna Karo Na Mujhse Pyaar, Bhavin Bhanushali said, “I am delighted to be a part of second season of Ratri ke Yatri. In the show, I am playing the role of Raju, who is street-smart thief with a kind heart. Having successfully pulled off his assignment, he finds himself in the red light area stumbling upon something more precious than anything he has ever stolen.”

Priyal Gor, who is currently seen in Tera Yaar Hoon Main, and is widely known for her roles in Dekha Ek Khwaab, Ichhapyaari Naagin, Badnaam, Maaya 2, Memories and Love Bites said, “I am playing the character of Laila, who is a wise and smart girl. Despite the hardships she has faced in the past, her zeal towards living life to the fullest is unshakable. One encounter with a strange visitor is all it takes to change their lives completely.”

A versatile actor known for playing comic and dramatic roles alike, Aakash Dabhade gained popularity for his portrayal of Mohan in Ferrari Ki Sawaari, Vishal Pradhan in Boss and Satyendra Rai in Article 15. Speaking about the show, he said, “I am playing the role of Pankaj, who is soon to be married and is having second thoughts about the same. He soon finds himself at a red light area and an encounter changes his perspective towards life.”

Ratri ke Yatri Season 2 is produced by Anil V Kumar Productions and directed by Anil V Kumar. The show will soon be available to stream on Hungama Play and partner networks.
