Manndakini Bora gears up for her next single ‘Chappan Churi’ and ‘Banjara’ with Javed Ali
Manndakini Bora is a sought after stage artist, performer and playback singer from India with several music videos, albums and Bollywood movies to her credit in the past few years. She is a popular face with the youngsters of today and has also been a finalist in Channel V’s Super Singer Reality Show.
With a career in singing and stage performances for about ten years, she has shared the stage with Late Shri. Bhupen Hazarika in her early career. She brings the best, she is known to rock the stage and woo the crowd. Manndakini has given her melodious voice to several Bollywood Romantics, Patriotic, Bhakti Songs, Bhajans, Ghazals.
A talented singer who sings in multiple languages including Hindi, Punjabi and Assamese, Manndakini has performed in over 200 Live Performances in India and abroad. Her performance in Assamese Version of ‘Dil Hoom Hoom Kare’, caught attention of hearts and soul, and gave her a loyal fan following, bringing a momentum to her singing career.
Apart from her singing talent, she also composes Ghazals. Her Ghazal compositions have been sung by the living legend such as Ghulam Ali Khan and Farhat Shahzad, the renowned poet. She got admiration for her charismatic play back singing performance in Bollywood films like Saheb Biwi aur Gangster 3 (2018), Tishanagi (2018) and Karim Mohommad (2018). In Saheb Biwi aur Gangster 3, with Sanjay Dutt as the lead character, she sung ‘Andhere Mein’ song with popular Bollywood Singer, Arjit Singh.
Her most popular and hit Assamese album Pakhi was sung by her and Bollywood Playback Singer, Zubin Garg. In her prolonged career she has sung more than sixty thousand folk Assamese album, several of which were also included in mainstream commercial movies too.
She has been nominated as best female debut singer at PTC Music Award for her song the ‘Roiyan’ in 2017.
Manndakini shared the stage with popular celebrity singers and renowned names in entertainment industry including Ustad Ghulam Ali Khan, Binod Rathod, Ankit Tiwari, Gurudas Maan, Shri Bhupen Hazarika, Gurdas Maan, Hariharan, Shaan, Anoop Jalota, Mitali Bhupenda, Vinod Rathod, and many more.
Year 2019 is all set for Manndakini to enter the next level of her performance and singing career with her studio and production company, and plans to release some romantic albums, cover songs, a web series of songs with 6 chapters and much more. With her production house, she focuses on nurturing the young unleashed talent from India and providing them with an active opportunity to showcase the talent.
Recent album ‘HEER’, released by Zee Music in March got applauds and was much appreciated by Rahul Mittra (CEO, Wave Cinemas), Vishal Dadlani, Actor Sonu Sood, Music Director Dilip Sen, Actor and Politician Manoj Tiwari, and many other eminent personalities.
On 2nd May ‘Mujhse Juda Hona Nahi’ was released by Zee Music Company, while on 6th May a Devotional Series Song, ‘Kanha Kanha’ was released by T-Series Bhakti Sagar.
