Review: The film ‘London Confidential’ directed by Kanwal Sethi is a taut espionage thriller that resonates with the times we are living in. With a run-time of just 77 minutes, the film ensures that the viewer’s stay invested, right up until the end.

One of the film’s biggest strengths is that there is a lot happening out, and probably there are high chances that you might miss something if you look away from the screen even for a moment. In short, director Kanwal Sethi is in firm control of the proceedings, and never for once loses his grip on the narrative.

When it comes to performances, Mouni Roy and Purab Kohli are both solid as undercover agents. Even Kulraj Randhawa effortlessly slips into her role of Indian ambassador. They are ably supported by Jas Binag, Pravesh Rana, Sagar Arya and Kiren Jogi.

As far as the technical aspects of the film are concerned, the screenplay is gripping. Even the cinematography captures the London cityscape in an interesting hue. Additionally, the editing is crisp; hence there are no dull moments in the film.

Overall, ‘London Confidential’ is worth the watch, as it would keep you guessing for the most part with its tooth-rattling plot.
