Light rains at some places in UP: Met dept
Lucknow: Light rain accompanied with thundershowers occurred at isolated places over Uttar Pradesh in the last 24 hours, the meteorological department said on Wednesday.
Thunderstorms accompanied with lightning occurred at isolated places over eastern UP. Rainfall was recorded in Barabanki, Varanasi, Pratapgarh and Gonda.
Etawah was the hottest place in the state, where the mercury touched 35.8 degrees Celsius.
Heavy rain is very likely at isolated places over the state on Thursday.
Rain along with thundershowers are very likely at most places over eastern parts of the state and at many places over western UP on September 10.
