Life Coach Trish Bell Debuts New Meditation Technique Inspired by the Movie 'Inception'
PHOENIX: Ready to kick off the beginning of 2021 and the end of 2020 on a positive self-improvement note, personal life coaching professional Trish Bell is debuting an exciting new instructional video detailing the ins and outs of a process that she has aptly dubbed "introspection meditation." Introspection meditation, according to Bell, is a fresh, innovative new meditation practice designed to help Type-A personalities and overly analytical thinkers like her to tune out meditation distractions and, thus, to meditate more easily, effectively and deeply. "Meditation has so many amazing benefits," Bell notes, "physical, emotional and mental benefits even — that it's really a shame that the practice itself remains a struggle for so many of us."
In a targeted effort to eliminate this struggle, Bell developed introspection meditation. The introspection meditation process is a layered meditation process that takes advantage of what Bell refers to as a "confusion technique" — a technique built around the foundational concepts and skills Bell learned and acquired during her years of experience and training in hypnosis and neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) principles.
Inspired by the "dream within a dream concept introduced in "Inception" — the 2010 film starring Leonardo DiCaprio — Bell lightheartedly presents introspection meditation as "a meditation inside a meditation, inside of another meditation." Indeed, Bell's fun-loving, breezy, free-spirited personality is nowhere more evident than in the promotional video trailer she recently produced for introspection meditation, which is itself a spoof of one of the "Inception" movie trailers. According to Bell, one of her biggest goals in all of this is to make meditation — and the many benefits of meditation — more accessible to the general public by presenting the process in a slightly less serious, more enjoyable and entertaining light, because she wholeheartedly believes that "the key to establishing a lasting meditation practice lies in engineering it to be an activity that people look forward to doing, rather than something they dread."
