Everyone wants to look appealing and confident. Having said that, almost every woman considers makeup as her true beauty partner. If you love wearing makeup, you should be aware of the expiry dates of the various products. Some beauty products might appear old and outdated, but others may seem perfect for use even when they have expired.

Being careless and applying expired products on the skin can result in inflammation, rashes, and other skin irritations.

When you are using many products on your skin, it is quite genuine to get confused with the expiry date of each one. Here is the list of commonly used beauty products along with their anticipated expiry dates.

1. Face Cleansers
Most of the commonly available and frequently used face washes typically last till a year. If you begin noticing discolouration and lumps in the product, then you should be very clear that it is high time to discard it.

2. Face Toner
Face toners are water-based products that can quickly develop bacteria. These products typically last up to six to twelve months from the date of manufacture. If you witness that it is starting to alter its colour, texture, or odour, then you need to throw it away without even giving a second thought.

3. Micellar Water
Just like the face toners, this beauty formula also tends to develop bacteria very easily on exposure to air. This product usually has longevity of six months.

4. Moisturizer
Many of the commonly used face creams usually come with a shelf life of around one year. However, you need to stay alert about the organic and natural cream-based products that typically get expired in even less than one year.

5. Perfumes
Perfumes generally have the longevity of eight to ten years. The shelf life of the fragrances can be increased by storing them well. The best way to store these products is by keeping them inside dark cupboards, totally away from light.
