This year’s Forum reflects the broadening mission of health care to address social determinants of health; improve the health of populations; improve access and outcomes and equity for communities that have often been marginalized; and attend to the human side of care by providing both person-centered care plans and a physical and psychologically safe environment for the workforce. At the same time, the Forum remains grounded in presenting the latest thinking in improvement science and building the skills necessary among the health care workforce to embed a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
